Analysis of the Thermal Performance of Isothermal Composite Heat Accumulators Containing Organic Phase-Change Material

This paper presents the results of material tests, experimental tests and statistical analysis thermal performance three types heat accumulators containing an organic phase-change two materials a higher conductivity: copper mesh porous coke recyclate. The aim research was to empirically statistically compare increase in PCM distribution through conductor conducted accordance with incomplete central compositional design using Statistica software. studies structure chemical composition recyclate used empirical testing finished confirmed improvement storage by accumulator compared pure copper-conductor accumulators, as holding time temperature 20 °C extended seven minutes nine minutes, respectively. Moreover, provided answers which assumed input quantities—initial temperature, battery geometry, heating temperature—were significant for each considered. determined approximating functions were verified terms validity their use all tested. obtained are important current problems modification applied construction industry reduce emissivity structures energy efficiency.
